Tariq Anam Khan

Tariq Anam Khan (born May 10, 1953) is a Bangladeshi actor, director, writer and producer in theatre, television, and film . He is a prominent actor in theatre, television, and film and is considered one of the legendary and powerful actors in Bangladesh today. He is more known for his roles in films The Last Thakur and Ghetuputra Kamola. He is founding member and leader of prominent Bangladeshi theatre group, Natyakendra, where he holds the position of Principal Secretary.
In addition, he was a freedom fighter in the liberation war of Bangladesh in 1971.〔(সাতক্ষীরা জেলাঃ এই যুদ্ধে অংশগ্রহণ করেন যারা )〕
==Early life==
Born in Satkhira, Tariq Anam Khan is the eldest son of Fakhrul Anam Khan and Jahanara Khanam. He has 3 brothers and 4 sisters. He entered in cultural premise as his family was culturaly inclined. He was familiar to different types of books and drama as Satkhira is near to Kolkata. As a student of Science he wanted to become a Pilot or Engineer. But when liberation war broke out, he acted in various drama in Sector 9.
In 1976, he accepted an opportunity to attend the National School of Drama, New Delhi on a government scholarship. In his last year, he was awarded as the best all-rounder in the school.
